Trip to Munnar

Our gang(Guru, Pradeep, Vel, Saro & me) started from Chennai to attend one of our friend's marriage in Nellai last friday. After the wedding we proceeded to Tiruchendur temple, had a good dharsan of Lord Muruga there. From there we left to Madurai, had dinner at my home and started to Munnar at around 9.30 PM, we had to transit via Theni. We reached Munnar early at 4.00 AM on saturday.

Pradeep had already booked a cottage over there. After a rest of few hours and breakfast, we started for some site seeing. Started off with a place called Rajamalai, which is said to be the highest peak in southern India about 8600 ft. above sea level. Here we saw a special type of goat(called varraadu) which can be found only in Munnar & Australia. And before lunch we went to a water falls & a view point. After lunch visited a very small flower garden, there was nothing special about this garden. Not worth a visit. Then, we went across the Indo-Swiss dairy project where they have cows imported from Swiss which seems to produces 60 liters of milk per day. This dairy is maintaining a 4-5 KM surrounding of fresh grass for feeding the cows. We were lucky enough to see a group of three elephants feeding from the above said grass field. Before winding up our site seeing we saw the mattupatti dam & an echo point.

All the way through we were clicking our camera. The sceneries in Munnar were really a stunning beauty especially the tea estates. The hill was completely covered with tea, tea and only tea. It was such a nice sight to see the very well maintained tea plantation. The climate was not very cold, December seems to be the best month there in terms of climate. Unlike Ooty & Kodai this place is sparsely populated and so there was no much of any hill traffic which could usually annoy you. Certainly a good spot to visit for a couple of days. And regarding the stay and the food, the resort where we stayed was 100% satisfactory. Especially the food there was really excellent I'd give a 10/10 for it. Their hospitality was also good. On the whole it was a wonderful experience in the resort.

Sunday morning we started from munnar and on our way back to Chennai, we visited Pradeep's & Guru's home for lunch and dinner. The week end was really a very eventful and wonderful one. Yet another wonderful trip.

Ajay.. seems u had a hectic trip.. travelling to different parts of the state. Its good that u could spend one day in Munnar, inspite of ur gruelling travel plan. Anyway, the photos look good.. feel like going again.

It would be better, if you could also post the cottage's phone number and photo, so that it will be useful for the followers of ur blog.

Anyway.. keep rocking and expect more such posts from you

Great place to be in for a week end, you took me to Munnar with the realistic pictures and narration.

As u said its not yet polluted by the mad crowd and best place for people to rest and stroll enjoying the tea estates and the cool breeze.

just felt like sharing these words i read. i loved them. hope u like them too.

Life is beautiful, cos there are people like you
in this world...
Did you know ???
Did you know that when you envy someone, it's
because you really like that person?
Did you know that those who appear to be very
strong in heart, are real weaklings and most
succeptible?
Did you know that those who spend their time
protecting others are the ones that really need some one
to protect them?
Did you know that the three most difficult things to
say are : I love you,Sorry and help me The people who
say these are those that actually need them or really feel
them, and they are the ones you really need to treasure,
because they have said them.
Did you know that people who occupy themselves
by keeping others company or helping others are the
ones that actually need your company and help?
Did you know that those who dress in red are more
confidence in themselves?
Did you know that those who dress in yellow are
those that enjoy thier beauty?
Did you know that those who dress in black, are
those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and
understanding?
Did you know that when you help someone, the
help is returned in two folds?
Did you know that those who need more of you are
those that did not mention it to you?
Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in
writting than saying it to someone in the face? But did
you know that it has more value when you say it in the
face?
Did you know that what is most difficult for you to
say or do is much more valuable than anything that is
valuable that you can buy with money?
Did you know that if you ask for something in
faith, your wishes are granted?
Did you know that you can make your dreams
come true, like falling in love, becoming rich, staying
healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you really knew,
you'd be surprised by what you could do.
But don't believe everything I tell you, until you try
it for yourself , if you know someone that is in need of
something that I mentioned of,and you know that you
can help, you'll see that it will be returned in two folds.
DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON ME???... AT THE
MOMENT, TIME AND PLACE THAT YOU NEED ME, CALL ME, I WILL BE THERE WITH YOU
!!!!!

A SALTY LOVE STORY
He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing
after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to
being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home.

suddenly he asked the waiter: "would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in
my coffee."Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put
the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously : why
you have this hobby? He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea,
I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea ,just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I
always think of my childhood, think of my home town, I miss my home town so much, I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears
filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has
responsibility of home.

Then she also started to speak, spoke about her far away hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also
a beautiful beginning of their story.
They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who
meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life...

And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the
coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it. After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said:" My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole
life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee.
Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted
some sugar, but I said salt it was hard for me to change so I just
went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication!

I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too
afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything.. Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the
salty coffee, what a strange bad taste..But I have had the salty
coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can
live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".
Her tears made the letter totally wet.

Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee?

It's sweet. She replied.

love is not 2 forget
but 2 forgive
not 2 c but understand
not 2 hear but 2 listen
not 2 let go but HOLD ON !!!!

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.

A real friend expects to always be there for you!

BEAUTIFUL STORY TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE

There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl. This
romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his
girl.

Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his
future
doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one
day, his
girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She
also told
him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so
they went
their own ways there and then...

Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he
worked
hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to m ake
something out
of himself.

Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had
set up
his own company ...

You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy
was
driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain
walking to
some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched.
It
didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents.

With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the
couple,
wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know
that he
wasn't the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He
made
it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a
cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed...and he saw his
girl, a
photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone
and he
saw his paper cranes right beside her...

Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They
explained,
she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had
believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his
obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him. Just because
someone
doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't
love you
with all they have. She had wanted her parents to put his paper
cranes
beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her
again...he
can take some of those back with him...

Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind
may
escape but what's in your heart will rem ain forever.

The guy just wept...The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting
right
beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever
again.........hope you understand.

Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to
you, for
you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought
meant
nothing to you.

Hello! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which
blog platform are you using for this website?
I'm getting fed up of Wordpress because I've had issues
with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
